The Directorate-General for Development Cooperation (DGCS-MAECI) entrusts Lattanzio KIBS with the independent impact evaluation of five health interventions carried out in Mozambique between 2019 and 2024

A System worth strengthening

Between 2019 and 2024, the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation (DGCS-MAECI) funded five health interventions in Mozambique targeting vulnerable communities and remote areas: from combating non-communicable diseases to HIV and tuberculosis prevention, from adolescent health to the continuity of antiretroviral treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Different in scope and target population, yet united by a common thread: equitable access, decentralised service delivery and active community engagement.

Lattanzio KIBS conducts the evaluation applying OECD-DAC criteria - effectiveness, sustainability, relevance, coherence, efficiency - through an integrated approach that analyses the five interventions synoptically, identifying cross-cutting synergies and systemic effects on the Mozambican health system.
