Supporting migrants’ access to healthcare

To strengthen the effectiveness of the FARI4Lazio project, ASL Roma 1 has activated a dedicated specialist support for the operational and administrative management of activities. The project, co-funded by the European Union, has a duration of 36 months starting from October 2024. In a context still marked by ongoing social and healthcare emergencies, the initiative aims to enhance integrated socio-healthcare intervention models across the territories of the participating ASLs. It ensures continuity with actions launched in previous FAMI cycles and promotes a homogeneous and replicable organizational model, aligned with regional and ministerial guidelines.

Lattanzio KIBS’ intervention is structured around five operational pillars designed to provide integrated support for the management of the FARI4Lazio project. The team supports ASL Roma 1 in defining and updating implementation procedures through operational tools aligned with the FAMI (Fondo asilo migrazione e integrazione) guidelines. A structured system for qualitative monitoring is also implemented, allowing the timely identification of management issues and the activation of corrective measures. The intervention further includes the physical and procedural monitoring of activities, along with continuous support in administrative and accounting management to ensure consistency and transparency. On the financial front, expenditure monitoring is carried out to verify alignment with the project’s objectives. Finally, Lattanzio KIBS supports the coordination of the partnership network, fostering effective communication among stakeholders and assisting ASL Roma 1 in the dissemination and valorisation of results at national and interregional level.

The project helps strengthen the coordination and management capacity of ASL Roma 1 and the entire partnership, fostering effective, transparent implementation in line with the strategic objectives of the FAMI programme. Thanks to the technical oversight provided by Lattanzio KIBS, the initiative enhances the quality of interventions, prevents inefficiencies, and promotes the sharing and valorisation of results through a collaborative and networked approach.
